Delete your account

You can do this yourself inside the app, immediately. This page is for when you cannot — you have uninstalled it, or you cannot sign in.

The quickest way

If you can still open the app, it takes about ten seconds and happens straight away:

  1. Open Face Off and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Scroll to Delete account at the bottom.
  3. Confirm.

Your account and its data are removed immediately. You do not need this page, and you do not need to wait for us.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Apple and Google bill it, so it has to be cancelled in your device’s own subscription settings. Do that first, or you will keep being charged for a game you no longer have an account for.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: display name, avatar, friend code, country.
  • Your stats, your friends, your friend requests and your blocks.
  • Your push token, so notifications stop.
  • The encrypted cache on your own device.

What is kept, and why

Match records stay, with your name removed. A match is also the other player’s history, and erasing it would delete something that is not only yours. Support messages and deletion requests are kept for up to 24 months so there is a record of what was asked and what we did.

If you cannot open the app

Uninstalled it, or cannot sign in? Ask here and we will do it for you. Use the email address on the account — it is the only way we can tell which account to delete.
